CRG DANIDA funding achievement 2016
- PTA, community leaders, parliamentarian,s and directors from the ministry of education gender and social welfare and local government were informed on the social accountability process and standards to give necessary support to children during data collection in different schools
- 60 children were trained on a data collection tool (score card) in 10 schools in order to enhance their knowledge to collect accurate and reliable information on social accountability.
- Data were collected on social accountability and a report was shared with stakeholders to inform the duties bearers to fulfill their responsibilities.
- Child protection mainstreaming training conducted and attended by 30 participants from ministry of local government, education gender social welfare, law enforcement agents, traditional leaders, women leaders and community base organization to increase the protection of children rights in different sectors
- 24 child resilience facilitators trained on child resilience training manual for 5 days in six school of Rumathoi, Manyiel, Akuem, Panapuoth, St.Daniel and Kanajak in order for them to deliver better services to increase children’s resiliency in the community and schools.
- 600 (300 boys & 300 girls) children completed all workshops for child resilience which result to increase of their psycho-social well-being and problem solver at school and in the community.
- 8 parents meeting were conducted in six schools for cycles one and two targeting 600 parents whose children are participating in child resilience programming.
- Pre and post –evaluation test was carried out in six schools supported by the child resilience program.
